I’m excited to share that I’ll be teaching an online workshop, The Art of Borrowing: Writers Experiment with Found Forms, offered through DC’s wonderful indie bookstore Politics and Prose.

Four Tuesdays: November 10, 17, 24, and December 1 | 6:30–8:00 p.m. ET | Online

This is an expansive and generative workshop, all about discovering surprising ways to borrow, transform, and play with language. We'll experiment with erasure, collage, hermit crab essays, scientific field guides, dichotomous keys, taxonomies, and literary forms from around the world.

Designed to get you writing, each session will offer inventive exercises to help you create new material while developing creative tools for finding inspiration in unexpected places. The workshop is open to writers of all genres and experience levels. No previous experience required!
